Membership Requirements To be a member of the American Association of Therapists Treating Abortion Related Trauma you must meet the following requirements:
1. Have a Masters Degree or higher in either Psychology, Psychiatry, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Professional Counseling or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited school
2. Either currently licensed in your state of practice, a registered intern working toward licensure hours, or at least three years of post masters experience in working with clients in a counseling setting
3. Agree to the mission and goals of the organization
4. Agree to a time commitment that would require monthly conference calls, participation in writing and training when needed
